Here are some pictures I finally got developed (taken at a Happy Mutant Handbook signing
gig):

Also, another issue (#15) of my paper zine, Boing Boing will be out this January
(if not sooner!). Some of the juicy contents include: my friendžs date with Nina
Hagen; Bruce Sterlingžs update on his Dead Media Project; a visit to a nudist camp;
surveillance on the Internet; and much much more. If youžre interested in buying a
copy (or back issues 13 & 14) send five bucks (each) to: Boing Boing, 11288 Ventura
Blvd #818, Studio City, CA 91604
Or just visit the Boing Boing site for
FREE (but our site and paper zine are two different animals - content doesnžt cross
over, so if you want it ALL, fork over the loot :-)
Finally, sorry I havenžt gotten my beauty parlor up yet - I definitely will by the
beginning of '97, I promise. Bye!
XOXOXOX,
Carla

My computer has finally started spitting out answers to your questions.
Lots of people have been posting their most embarassing moments, as well as the boys and
girls they sCREAM for. Take a gander and
share your secrets, too.
If you just have general gossip, leave it on my answering machine.

Carla

Hi gang! I finally stocked my shelves with some books that you can pull down and read, and you don't even
need a library card. I'll keep adding books every couple of weeks, so check back
often.
But before you do anything else, check this site out: Stop the Religious Right from shutting down online free
speech! I don't need those elderly windbags in the government deciding what's
good or bad for me to look at! If you feel the same way, you can do something about
it. Call Newt Gingrich at 202/225-4501, fax 202/225-4656, or Bob Dole at
202/224-6521, fax 202/228-1245 and tell the robot on the other end of the phone line
something like: "Please oppose the recent proposal from the Religious Right to censor
the Internet. The only effective way to address children's access to the Internet is
through parental control tools outlined by the Cox/White/Wyden approach."

I finally moved my gadgets into the Office. They're plugged in
and ready for you to put your grabby little paws all over them.
My book is finally back from the printers!
Keep a sharp lookout for upcoming events!
XOXOXOX,
Carla
