What will the seminar emphasize?
Emphasis is on defense, strikes, counters and various combination techniques and drills using one and two sticks, and applications with the empty hand.

Who can attend?
Everyone is welcome to attend. All those interested in martial arts will enjoy to train with this highly accomplished martial artist. Instruction will be applicable to beginners as well as master level martial artists. Be prepared to sweat!

How much does it cost and how do I pay?
The seminar cost $75 if pre-registered and $100 at the door. Get 5 people to sign up and you get in free! The fee is non-refundable and may be paid by certified check, money order, or online by credit card. Only certified check, money orders, and cash will be accepted the day of the event.

What should I bring?
Bring workout clothes, rattan sticks and a pen and notebook if you want to take notes. If you don't have rattan sticks, they can be purchased at the seminar. T-shirts and videotapes will also be available for purchase.

Can I bring my video camera?
No video taping will be permitted.

How do I get there?
The seminar will be held at the Physical Education Building Room 134 at California State University, Los Angeles. The campus is conveniently located just 5 miles east of Downtown L.A. at the interchange of the San Bernardino (I-10) and Long Beach (I-710) freeways (see detailed directions). Recommended parking is in Lot C (see campus map). Parking permits are required and can be obtained at the parking permit machines located at the parking lot. Parking fees cost up to $6 per day maximum.

What time should I arrive?
Seminar participatns should arrive 15-20 minutes early for registration.

What about food and meals?
There will be an hour-long lunch break scheduled at 1pm. A short distance from campus there are cafes and fast food restaurants that can be driven to. Instructions on how to get to them will be announced at the seminar.
